Public or unlisted YouTube videos can work when the owner allows embedding and YouTube makes the video available to the embedded player. Interakly uses that player without downloading or re-hosting the video.

Can I upload my own videos?

Yes. Upload any MP4 (lectures, screen recordings, training footage, anything) up to 40 minutes long. Uploads are unlimited per day and resumable — they pick up where they left off if your wifi drops.
